This object, alternatively known as the Vulture Head Nebula or the Baby Eagle Nebula, is a faint reflection nebula in the constellation Taurus. It lies about 4.5 – 5 degrees northeast of the much easier-to-see Pleiades star cluster. This subject is difficult to photograph, particularly the associated dust and gas surrounding the “bird”. It was captured over several nights during January and February, 2025 and includes over 15 hours of exposure time.
